’54 TELECASTER pickups are directed to guitarists who are looking for sound from the ‘50s, great for many ganres. Everything you need for Blues, Jazz and Country up to Rock solos and the characteristic Tele twang sound. Output signal is slightly lower than early Broadcaster sets but it has everything what is showing the best time of Telecaster. The biggest difference is in the design of the bridge coil, which have raised magnets for the D and G strings. The set is powered by light bevelled Alnico 5 magnets and Plain enamel wire, in accordance with that period.
Similar to all my pickups ’54 TELECASTER is made by hand with great care just like the original and will move each Tele to the sound of the ‘50s.
This set has a waxed outer layer of coils, such as all vintage Fender pickups. The center of the coil is not waxed to obtain pure, crystal sound and high dynamics.
We achieve this thanks to the method that includes waxing at a certain temperature for a certain time.
If you prefer completely waxed coils add "Wax Potted" to the "Add a Note" at checkout.
