This set is a faithful reproduction of Fender pickups when Broadcaster became a Telecaster. The name "Rhythm & Lead" was commonly used, which was not accidental. This was determined by lower output of the coils, different wire diameter for both picks and the changes used in guitar wiring. The neck pickup sounded gentle and worked in playing chords, while bridge sounded sharper and clearly with a perfect piercing above other instruments, thanks to which he became a champion in the game of solos, which in those years appeared more and more often in music. An additional middle switch location was provided by a rounder, harmonic sound, giving greater the possibility of creating sound.

All this is included in '53 "RHYTHM & LEAD".

This set has a waxed outer layer of coils, such as all vintage Fender pickups. The center of the coil is not waxed to obtain pure, crystal sound.

The high end and full midrange sound combined with my partial waxing method provides high dynamics throughout the frequency range.

If you prefer completely waxed coils add "Wax Potted" to the "Add a Note" at checkout.
