Like DABROWSKI TELE BLUES, THE WINK BOYS pickups is constructed using the ALNICO 2 magnets to obtain a warm Blues sound and unique sustain. However, thanks to the warm wound of coils, especially for the neck pickup and bridge construction with flat magnets, this set can be used in many musical genres. Sounds harmonic and with higher settings of the Gain can elevate the sound to a completely different level. The riffs and chords sound great for the bridge and neck are what defines this set. It sounds great while playing picks or fingers.
 
This set has a waxed outer layer of coils, such as all vintage Fender pickups. The center of the coil is not waxed to obtain pure, crystal sound.
The high end and full midrange sound combined with my partial waxing method provides high dynamics throughout the frequency range.
 
If you prefer completely waxed coils add "Wax Potted" to the "Add a Note" at checkout.
