DABROWSKI 50/60s STRAT set is a combination of two decades of production of single coils for Stratocaster guitars. The coils are wound with lower resistance found in the early period. However, the 42AWG Plain enamel wire, which is used, is consistent with the specification of Fender from the 60s. As a "drive" I decided to use ALNICO 2 magnets. The use of these magnets best defines the connection of the sound of these two decades. Vintage staggered and hand-bevelled reflect the beauty of the sound from that period. The coils sounds gentle in high ranges. Bass is delicate and transparent. With higher Gain settings, the middle range is crunchy but fully controlled. All this is filled with natural sustain.
I recommend this set to guitarists who are looking for vintage sound with rich harmonics. Clean chords or distorted solos sound great.
Jazz, Blues, Funk, Reggae or Rock best show their possibilities and surprise you in more ways than one, which you can get out of this set.
As in the originals, a steel baseplate is mounted in the bridge position. This protects against external interference and shapes the magnetic fields so the sound is full and rounded but without losing high frequencies.
This set has a waxed outer layer of coils, such as all vintage Fender pickups.
The center of the coil is not waxed to obtain pure, crystal sound and high dynamics.
If you prefer completely waxed coils add "Wax Potted" to the "Add a Note" at checkout.
