DISCRIPTION
 
P90 ‘50 is a set based on long rough sand cast ALNICO 2 magnets and wound warmer ensuring a characteristic rough sound and a stronger output signal already in the average range of GAIN settings. In both positions of picks, the chords have full sound and individual notes have clean and round sound. This causes the P90 ‘50 to be used in many genres of music. From Blues, Jazz to stronger sounds Rock, Progressive Rock and early Heavy Metal. This is what created the legend Gibson Junior and Standard at that time. Thanks to a single, wide coil, the reception of a wider band of vibration of each string makes it sound unique and bar magnets add dynamics and move the sound towards Humbuckers. In my opinion, this is probably one of the best single coils that have been designed for electric guitars in the history of music. Created for everyone who looks for what was in the 50s and irreplaceable in many common productions.
 
IMPORTANT !
I have a P90 Soap Bar available in two sizes :
 
The 49.2mm Gibson P90 size is only available as Black or Ivory Soap Bar with a 7.5mm corner radius and is used in Gibson guitars or in custom designs based on Gibson P90 pickups.
The 50mm Soap Bar cover has a 6.0mm corner radius and is used in Epiphone guitars and many other models.
Before purchasing, check the dimensions to ensure it will fit your needs.
 
This set is not waxed like vintage P90s for clarity and dynamics. If you want them waxed add "Wax Potted" to the "Add a Note" at checkout.
